About the Company / History
OPOP was founded in 1994 through the privatization of a former state-owned company, resuming a 40-year tradition of heating equipment production. At present, OPOP is one of the leaders on the Czech heating equipment market.
The basic production programme of OPOP is steel solid-fuel stoves and boilers with an output of 50 kW. In 1996, we achieved almost a 30% share on the Czech market of steel solid-fuel stoves and boilers. In 1999 we brought out our LK100 bath stove (solid-fuel water heating), in 2001 we introduced LT8 and LT8 LUX solid-fuel stoves for local heating, and in 2004 we launched our fireplace stoves. In 2005 we started successful cooperation with a Danish company for the production of automatic pellet boilers. In 2008 we started the production of wood gasification boilers.
This wide assortment imposes stringent requirements for the quality of personnel, machinery and financial strength of the company. The experience and expertise of our employees, our modern CNC machines for flame-cutting, die-cutting, shaping and welding, as well as our own paint shop, give our complex production process maximum flexibility and independence, and guarantee the high quality of our products. That is why we can afford to grant a 5-year guarantee for weldments on our steel solid-fuel stoves and boilers. We sell our products in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Denmark, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro, Russia, Ukraine and Mongolia.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the founding of the original OPOP; the modern version of the company has been in business now for 15 years.
